Is Working Smarter Right for You?

What does ‘Working Smarter’ look like? For Dianna, it looked like having her best year yet (and getting rid of her 6 month waiting list) in 2023. Then realizing that 2024 was even better! And she’s already on track for 2025 to top that! And, did I mention, she only works 2 days a week! 

Dianna is a Natural Hair Care and Styling Master. So much so that she WOW’d her clients and had a massive waiting list of people trying to get in. 

While she loved her work, trying to squeeze people in and juggle a large clientele in made her feel exhausted and overwhelmed. Can you relate? 

We met in March of 2023 at the International Beauty Shows (IBS) in NY, where she took my class and got started on my training right away. By April, she made significant changes and started to see results, even though she was ‘doing scared’. 

Throughout her career, she had made pretty good money, but by the end of 2023, she was just shy of $100,000 - for the first time! And get this, she took 5, yes 5, vacations!! 

So we’re not talking working 5, 6, 7 days a week with 12 hour days and back to back clients who are all double booked. She works 2 days a week, with time to educate each client. They appreciate and value her, as she now understands the true value that she brings. For her, that’s working smarter in action. 

Fast forward to 2024. She knew she had a great year, exceeded her numbers, created great client experiences, same schedule, enjoyed several vacations and time with family and friends. 

But when she took a deeper dive into her numbers, her sales were up an impressive 25%!! That alone is enough to have a huge celebration, right? 

But get this, she did those numbers with 11% fewer transactions!! Which means the people she did happily spent more.  Now that is truly the definition of working smarter!
